Media Interactives and DC3 Cabin Replica

National Aviation Museum, Ottawa, Canada

Mystus Exhibits developed all the media components of the additional galleries working with our partners Lord Cultural Resources. The special addition to the gallery came on the 100th anniversary of powered flight in Canada. Exhibit interactives included a section of the luxurious DC3, made with sheet alluminum and riveting true to the original. The Principles of Flight computer interactive features full 3D models of 4 vintage planes. Visitors mixed and matched parts to build a plane best suited for a mission. Ambient audio, several lo-tech interactives, an audio stories station in both languages and a Lancaster and Spitfire fly-by gobo were also featured.
